The course
Grinduro's East Coast edition mixes a social gravel ride with enduro-style racing: only four timed segments count, so you can ride the rest at a chatty pace. The 2026 loop ran out of Lock Haven into Sproul State Forest, Pennsylvania's largest, on gravel, rugged trail and some pavement with real climbs and long descents, then finished with a festival, bike expo and handbuilt bike show. The 2027 venue isn't announced yet.
- Grinduro: 79 mi · 6,500 ft of climbing · 66% gravel. 4 timed segments; overall time is the segments only.
- Grindurito: 42 mi · 3,500 ft of climbing · 64% gravel. Shorter loop; e-bikes allowed.
Start/finish: Castanea Fire Company Picnic Grounds, Lock Haven, PA (2026; 2027 not announced) · Nearest airport: Williamsport (IPT) or State College (SCE), about 30 miles away
