The course
Shift Events' late-season Colorado race leaves Riverside Park in downtown Salida with a stout climb right away and ends with a long descent back to town. The 76-mile Banquet course heads into remote high-plains backcountry, while the 76 km Lite crosses private land that's only open on race day. Timing stops at the top of the last climb, so the final 13 miles are a cruise.
